- Presentation of the “Comité Visas Artistes” (“Artist Visa Committee”) :
In order to promote greater ease of the granting of visas to foreign or French artists, invited to perform in France by professional organizations or on tour abroad, several professional organizations are coming together to create the “Comité Visa Artistes”.
The association Zone Franche, world music network, has been appointed to act on behalf of it and to work on the emergency situations regarding the entrance of the invited artists on the French territory.
What is this committee for? What does it work for? Which problems does it deal with? How to use it?
- Presentation of the concrete advances regarding the mobility of the artists and visas on an European scale
Richard Polacek, European consultant, will present:
- What is now happening in Europe as to visas policy
- What different artistic organizations all over Europe have been realising till today in order to fight against too much restrictive visas policies which prejudice to the circulation of both artists and groups
- What is "Practics" - European plate-form that will provide information about mobility in the cultural sector

- Presentation of the new director of Zone Franche, Mrs Christine Semba and some news about the members by Benjamin Minimum, chief editor of Mondomix:
