10 years ago, Zone Franche con\u00adclud\u00aded its last \u00c9tats G\u00e9n\u00e9raux after three bien\u00adni\u00adal meet\u00adings in 2009 (at Sci\u00adences Po Paris), 2011 (at the Cit\u00e9 Nationale de l\u2019His\u00adtoire de l\u2019Im\u00admi\u00adgra\u00adtion) and 2013 (at the Vil\u00adla M\u00e9diter\u00adran\u00e9e in Mar\u00adseille). These high points mobi\u00adlized insti\u00adtu\u00adtions, actors, pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adals, etc., from all over the world.<\/p>

In the space of 10 years, the effects of glob\u00adal\u00adiza\u00adtion have increased, as have the rise of iden\u00adti\u00adty and nation\u00adal\u00adism, the cli\u00admate cri\u00adsis has become an emer\u00adgency, geopo\u00adlit\u00adi\u00adcal bal\u00adances have shift\u00aded dra\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly, and pop\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion move\u00adments are call\u00ading into ques\u00adtion the abil\u00adi\u00adty of coun\u00adtries to wel\u00adcome with dig\u00adni\u00adty \u201cthe oth\u00ader\u201d, with their cul\u00adture and the rights inher\u00adent in their human\u00adi\u00adty. PROGRAM 2023 \u2014 2026<\/b><\/h2>\n

When we talk about World Music, we\u2019re talk\u00ading about the world\u2019s cul\u00adtures, about our\u00adselves and about oth\u00aders. It means debat\u00ading inter\u00adcul\u00adtur\u00adal and inter-iden\u00adti\u00adty exchanges and rela\u00adtion\u00adships. It\u2019s about cher\u00adish\u00ading dif\u00adfer\u00adence against stan\u00addard\u00adiza\u00adtion. It means choos\u00ading open\u00adness over with\u00addraw\u00adal. It\u2019s a way of talk\u00ading about arts and cul\u00adtures out\u00adside the log\u00adic of the mar\u00adket. It\u2019s about ques\u00adtion\u00ading the rela\u00adtion\u00adship between music and soci\u00adety, and the polit\u00adi\u00adcal and eco\u00adnom\u00adic pow\u00ader it wields, so much so that it shapes iden\u00adti\u00adties and imag\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtions. These ques\u00adtions, and many oth\u00aders, will be the focus of the many pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal meet\u00adings, both nation\u00adal and inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal, orga\u00adnized around 4 main themes (one per year) and an inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal meet\u00ading in Ger\u00admany.<\/p>\n
