Dis\u00adplaced artists deserve spe\u00adcial atten\u00adtion in the devel\u00adop\u00adment of their careers, what\u00adev\u00ader their legal sta\u00adtus. For their careers are often jeop\u00adar\u00addized and\/or deval\u00adued, either by pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal down\u00adgrad\u00ading or by dis\u00adrup\u00adtion. But beyond these pure\u00adly artis\u00adtic obsta\u00adcles, we need to take into account their jour\u00adney into exile, which is in fact a trau\u00admat\u00adic one, often marked by vio\u00adlence, fear or sad\u00adness due to sep\u00ada\u00adra\u00adtion. That\u2019s why the human and pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal accom\u00adpa\u00adni\u00adment of these artists rep\u00adre\u00adsents a cru\u00adcial issue in the appre\u00adhen\u00adsion of these social and cul\u00adtur\u00adal dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adties. <\/span><\/p>\n

On a pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal lev\u00adel, this sup\u00adport means rec\u00adog\u00adniz\u00ading their sta\u00adtus as full-fledged cul\u00adtur\u00adal play\u00aders, and insert\u00ading this artis\u00adtic iden\u00adti\u00adty into a new con\u00adtext. It also means offer\u00ading pro\u00adtec\u00adtion (in the case of polit\u00adi\u00adcal exiles) against pos\u00adsi\u00adble transna\u00adtion\u00adal repres\u00adsion. Final\u00adly, it means giv\u00ading them the tools they need to inte\u00adgrate, such as access to net\u00adworks, res\u00adi\u00adden\u00adcies, fund\u00ading and media vis\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty. This requires coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adtion between pub\u00adlic insti\u00adtu\u00adtions, cul\u00adtur\u00adal struc\u00adtures and sol\u00adi\u00addar\u00adi\u00adty play\u00aders, to build last\u00ading bridges between exile and cre\u00adation. On a human lev\u00adel, it\u2019s a ques\u00adtion of offer\u00ading them sym\u00adpa\u00adthet\u00adic sup\u00adport and a lis\u00adten\u00ading ear. <\/span><\/p>\n

This one-day event, aimed at all pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adals and dis\u00adplaced artists, will address these issues by deal\u00ading with pub\u00adlic poli\u00adcies and oth\u00ader issues relat\u00ading to sup\u00adport for artists, as well as offer\u00ading them tools to help them pur\u00adsue their artis\u00adtic projects, notably through : dis\u00adcov\u00ader\u00ading the pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal envi\u00adron\u00adment in France, time for exchanges between peers and with pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adals, dis\u00adcus\u00adsion groups, etc. <\/span><\/p>\n

Note : French will be the main lan\u00adguage for the morn\u00ading pro\u00adgram, with round tables and keynote speak\u00aders (trans\u00adla\u00adtion will be pro\u00advid\u00aded if nec\u00ades\u00adsary). For the artists\u2019 cours\u00ades, they will be asked at the time of reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion whether or not they speak French, so that, if nec\u00ades\u00adsary, a French-speak\u00ading and an Eng\u00adlish-speak\u00ading group can be formed. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
