Creation of a directory of
world music professionals : “SANS VISA 2.0”.
In order to improve cooperation between music professionals on the continent (and beyond), the working group that brings together Zone Franche members on the African continent quickly identified the need to identify and locate the latter.
So the idea of creating a directory of African music professionals quickly took hold. Eventually, it could be extended to other continents. With the help of Zone Franche’s African members and partners, we have drawn up this questionnaire, which is intended to be distributed.
In doing so, we can’t avoid the historical reference to the work done by Zone Franche in the 90s with the “SANS VISA” guide, which listed over 12,000 professionals from all over the world, plus in-depth articles on the music of various countries. Hence the name of this new tool, which will eventually be published on the Zone Franche website : ” SANS VISA 2.0 “.
