Zone Franche at Trans Musicales de Rennes — December 4 and 5

For 2 days, Thurs­day Decem­ber 4 and Fri­day Decem­ber 5, the Zone Franche team will be present at the Trans­Mu­si­cales in Rennes.

Pre­sen­ta­tion and demon­stra­tion of the CooProg tool

Dis­cov­er CooProg at the Trans Musi­cales de Rennes ! To reduce the car­bon foot­print of tour­ing, it’s vital for pro­gram­mers to coor­di­nate their pro­gram­ming, so that it’s well thought-out. CooProg is here to help pro­fes­sion­als do just that. Free of charge and open to all, the plat­form allows you to man­age in a sin­gle place : pro­gram­ming sched­ules (from sim­ple inten­tions to con­firmed dates), artist infor­ma­tion, tour geolo­ca­tion, venues and tour oper­a­tors involved, chat, etc… Already tried and test­ed in the field of live per­for­mance, it has been in the dis­tri­b­u­tion phase for music since mid-2025. This pre­sen­ta­tion will intro­duce you to CooProg’s func­tions.

Zone Franche and SPEDIDAM, in part­ner­ship with Les Trans­Mu­si­cales, are orga­niz­ing a speed-meet­ings ses­sion as part of the fes­ti­val on Thurs­day, Decem­ber 4 :

“Can SPEDIDAM help you with your artis­tic projects?”
Pro­fes­sion­al meet­ing in 2 parts : a 30-minute group ses­sion, fol­lowed by a 10-minute indi­vid­ual ses­sion with Franck Edouard, SPE­DI­DAM’s Direc­tor of Cul­tur­al Action.
Pri­or­i­ty reg­is­tra­tion for artists and pro­duc­ers who are mem­bers of the net­works Zone Franche, Bretagne(s) World Sounds and Super­Mab.

Thursday 4/12 from 2pm to 6pm and Friday 5/12 from 10am to 1pm at La Maison des Associations — Room 101

Work­shops on the CooProg tool

Zone Franche is offer­ing 2 work­shop ses­sions in small groups (4 peo­ple) to get to grips with and dis­cov­er this co-pro­gram­ming tool.

The irrup­tion of AI is over­turn­ing estab­lished ref­er­ence points in terms of cre­ation, dis­tri­b­u­tion and copy­right pro­tec­tion. Sup­port­ing artists and cul­tur­al struc­tures in this tran­si­tion is becom­ing a pri­or­i­ty. How are labels and pro­fes­sion­al net­works orga­niz­ing them­selves ? What legal frame­works can be devised col­lec­tive­ly to pro­tect authors and pro­mote their cre­ations ?
